~*~EDIT 5/3/2015~*~
I'm not very frequent on dA anymore, but a few days ago, I noticed that there was a request for me to add this to a club. Since then, people have been favoriting it, so I wanted to come back and amend some of what I said before.
I posted this in 2010, and came out as an ally. Now, five years later, I'm not just an ally - I'm a lesbian and identify as androgynous/genderfluid. This issue, which once was simply a side cause, has become a major part of my life. I'm involved in the club in my university; I'm on the student union for this work. It's something I'm proud to work for.
But there are so many fights to fight, guys. Culture to protect, rights to gain, etc. Especially with religious freedom bills and all kinds of nasty stuff for LGBTQ folk, the fight is harder than ever, and it's something that'll be important for our generation and all the generation following. So this is good work we're doing. Or, at least, that's what I want to hope.
Thanks for liking the stamp, and my work. I appreciate it. :)

Used a tutorial and template for this:

OK, here's my deal: I've read things, I've heard things, and I've acknowledged things that happen in regards to the whole LGBT issue. My thing: if you care for somebody deeply and want to insure their well being at all costs, then it's love. I don't care if it's between a man and women, two women, two men, or a group of chinchillas. Caring is love. LOVE HAS NO GENDER.
I, personally, think everybody has the right to marriage. And I think everyone has the right to love. What is so wrong with loving somebody with the same anatomy? Why is that wrong?
I tell people that I have strong opinions. This is a good example of one of them. And while I am straight, it's my battle too, because I believe in equality for all and in love for whoever the heck wants it, no matter what.

Um . . .and that's my rant. I can go on for a while . . .

The stamp belongs to me, the template and tutorial I used are above.
You may use it, that is totally fine with me. I would like to see where it goes, though, so pop me a comment if you'd mind doing so. :)

The other day, I saw a gay couple who must have just gotten married because it was only recently legalized in my state. They looked incredibly happy together and like they loved each other very much! Love shouldn't just be between a man and a woman, just because it works that way doesn't make it love. It's biology, not love. Love is when two people truly care for one another and feel happy when they're with each other. Imagine how awful the world would be if we forced everyone to be in a heterosexual couple! I fully agree with you. Relationships should be about love, not biology.
